Insurance

Dr. Josue is an in-network provider with Medicaid and select commercial insurances, including Blue Cross Blue Shield and Carefirst. You may also use your out-of-network benefits.

Before your appointment, please confirm your mental health benefits with your insurance provider. You are responsible for all co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles as well as any portion(s) of the full fee not covered by your insurance. This is due at the time of appointment. If your insurance provider, policy, or benefits change, please call the office in advance of your next appointment.

Fee Schedule

For out of network patients, full payment is due at the time of appointment. Cash, debit/HSA/FSA cards, and all major credit cards are accepted. At your request, we will provide a superbill that you may then submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Initial evaluation: Initial psychiatric evaluation for new patients only. Includes discussion of treatment plan. 60-75 minutes. $400

Follow-up appointment, 30 minutes: Psychopharmacology (medication management)/psychotherapy. $200

Follow-up appointment, 45 minutes: Psychopharmacology (medication management)/psychotherapy. $300

Testing: GeneSight testing, cognitive testing, and ADHD testing are available for ages 6 through adult. Please contact the office for the fee schedule.

Appointment Policies

Appointment reminders will be sent out via email and/or text via our secure servers prior to your appointment.

Cancellation: If you must cancel your appointment for any reason, please call the office at 443-885-0915 and leave a voicemail message. You must cancel more than 24 business hours prior to your appointment. Appointments that are not canceled within that timeframe will be treated as missed appointments.

Missed appointments: A no-show, including for telemedicine appointments, and/or an appointment that is not canceled with appropriate advance notice, will be subject to a cancellation fee of half the appointment fee. This must be paid before your appointment is rescheduled.

Late arrival: If you arrive late to your appointment, you will still be responsible for the full appointment fee; however, your appointment will be limited to the originally scheduled time and thus may be cut short.

Inclement weather: The office will close for in-person appointments when Howard County public schools close due to inclement weather. We will call you to reschedule your appointment. This does not apply to telepsychiatry appointments.
